A very memorable stay for our family at candlelight cottage. A cosy cottage that was like our own home for a beautiful birthday dinner for my 40th birthday. Having three boys i was a little unsure about taking them to a cottage, but they loved it and relaxed as much as we did. Also Thanks peta, for making us welcome, as it was never an issue for you, for us to bring our children along.

Our stay at Candlelight Cottages was very enjoyable and comfortable .I dont really think there would be anything else that you could provide to make the stay more memorable . The provisions were absolutely delicious and fresh , the room was very clean ,all the linen was of an excellent quality.Thank you very much our stay was much more than enjoyable and I would not hesitate to recommend Candlelight cottages to anyone and we will be back. Only one thing I noticed and that was that the showers could not be ran together due to low water pressure.Also would love to know where the orange juicer was bought as I would love to purchase one myself and Kevin would like to know the brand of ground coffe as he loved the flavour and strengh of it .Thank you very much . kind regards Milusa

Thank you for all the provisions and attentiveness to make our stay so enjoyable. Even with a little baby who is learning to walk, the cottage was very safe and comfortable for our family of 5. The generous food provisions were most heartening, particularly since we are tucked away in the woods, it made for cozy mornings for our family to spend quality time together. It's a wonderful and beautiful cottage so lovingly furnished and cared for, thank you!

We stayed in the candlelight cottage and absolutely loved it! The website pictures did not do it justice. It was so lovely and warm and welcoming. We especially appreciated all the little complementary extras (like the chocolates and port) which were so thoughtful. The breakfast provisions and BBQ pack were also extremely generous and yum! We cannot speak more highly of our experience at the candlelight cottages!

Hi Peta, we thought candlelight cottages were lovely and we really enjoyed our stay, we felt very pampered by the luxurious surroundings, we are already recommending it to others, cant speak highly enough of the attention to detail and the decor of the cottage made us want to live there permanently! We also would like to thank you for recommending the Mangan arts and crafts shop in Olinda. We spent about an hour and a half there and Helen and myself spent over $200 each there. Cottage in the Forest: very functional lay-out, very pleasant atmosphere during day and in the evening, great big windows inviting a wonderful forest into the bedroom and to the beautiful,spacious bathroom. Nice outdoor area - in the morning we had a very close encounter with birds. If not for the sound of traffic interfering sometimes with our tuning in to sounds of nature, a bit uncomfortable pillows and lack of a bread knife - this place would be perfect.

Peta went out of her way to provide Gluten free alternatives for our brekky and snacks-- The frig (and kitchen) was absolutely packed with the most delicious goodies! Lovely cosy place with great amenities. Wished we could have stayed longer.

A wonderful experience from beginning to end. Our initial contact with Peta was exceptional, she made the whole transaction effortless for a family with 2 small kids coming from out of state. The cottage itself was breathtaking and all the little details made the experience one to remember! Our only complaint is that we didnt get to stay longer!! The Cottage was absolutely gorgeous- perfect mix of old world charm and new modern amenities in all the right places to make the stay so comfortable and easy. They thought of everything you could need for your time away- from complimentary make-up remover to beautiful handcream. The food provisions were amazing- we didn't even get through everything from our three week stay. We loved the fireplace, bathrobes, and giant romantic spa bath, reading the newspaper in bed with a coffee. We didn't want to leave! Just the perfect place for a private, quiet, indulgent, romantic trip away for relaxing and good conversation. Thank you!

Absolutely loved the welcoming and nurturing service, walking into a warm cottage with lamp on and music playing, not just an empty dark room like at a hotel! I loved the little chocolates and ate far too many cookies! I read all the magazines, I love country style magazines but I never give myself the pleasure of relaxing on the couch with one! I managed to catch up on a lot of relaxing whilst at Candlelight Cottages. The breakfast provisions in the fridge were placed with love, not to mention the homemade loaf of bread. Everything was superb, we cannot wait to return again very soon. Thank you so much.

Absoulutely I would recommend this to all my friends. I have already started handing out pamphlets. I was taken when I first spoke with Peta to make reservations, Her soft, and calm voice was enough to know that this place was going to be magical. As soon as i walked into the cottage it all made sense that only someone so calm with a passion of loving what you do, can create such a place. Once you turn into the driveway, it's almost like your in another world. No traffic, peaceful and tranquility. We celebrated a work promotion and after studying for 13 months, it was just what we both needed. The "Cottage in the Forrest" was the most beautiful place i have been to, the full breakfast was amazing, (I'm sure a "House Keeping Angel" served me breakfast, I didn't have to do a thing) the spa was huge with lots of room to move, the view from the bedroom was to die for. (I actually woke at 0500 just so i could be awake to watch day break through nature the way it did)... As I wrote in the guest book, "I wonder if this is what heaven looks like" and it was simply a piece of paradise on earth. We felt isolated from the world and felt as though we were the only 2 people on the earth. Also went to the Ivy for dinner which was lovely, and the little shops along the way were just wonderful. (Bought back home a few little bits and pieces) Great experience. Will come back again, and again. Next time will be for a little longer. Thankyou so much for a wonderful experience. Josie and Rob.

We have stayed in a lot of holiday accommodation facilities - and the 1 feature that stood out for us, was the fact that every little detail had been thought of. We stay at the Candlelight cottage for our 30 Th. anniversary and it was perfect everything was thought of to the very smallest detail .dvd's,i-pod doc,cd player,air conditioner,a bottle of port and glasses .Even toothpaste. we even book a restaurant at the wild oaks and the chef it self took us to the restaurant and back ,what a wonderful night we had they even add a band playing jazz.And the management at the cottage were very helpful and very friendly and we wanna thank them very much for making our stay very pleasant .we strongly recommend the Candlelight cottage .Very clean and also close to the antique shops,coffee shops and restaurants.Wont be disappointed
